AMaGA: First Peoples and Australian Museums and Galleries

AMaGA commissioned Terri Janke and Company, Lawyers and Consultants, to undertake a research and consultation project to examine how museums and galleries can further improve Indigenous representation and participation across all areas.

Australian Museums and Galleries Association Incorporated (AMaGA) is the national association and peak advocacy body representing museums and galleries. AMaGA encompasses a wide and diverse range of national, state, regional and community museums, galleries, historic sites, research centres, Indigenous cultural centres, and Keeping Places across Australia.
